Mustard + Black

Mustard is one of my most favorite colors to wear.

It reminds me of gold and I rarely go a day without accessorizing with gold.  I love how the mustard hues brighten the black.  The cut of this dress is a favorite too.  It's a classic design with a V-neckline, fitted bodice and sheath skirt with a few tiny pleats allowing more room for movement.

Amongst the abstract painted blooms on this dress is a hint of a light sage green.  I wanted to bring out this muted green with these heels.  I love these heels for their unique shade and stacked heel with gold bars.  They were definitely a #fabfound from Marshalls a few years ago!

P.S. This Firebloom Sheath dress is on Sale at Anthropologie!

Spot-Light

This Blouse is Spot On!

I Love Work Wear and I Love Color.
I find it Miserably Boring to have a Constant Rotation of Dark Neutral Solids for Work. Adding Color and Print Doesn't take away from Professionalism but Rather Allows Your Personality to Shine Through.

Now, I don't Recommend Mixing Prints or Neon Colors for Interviewing or Important Meetings (those are the occasions to dress as simplistic as possible)

This Blouse isn't Just for the Office Ladies, Pair it with Jeans or Under a Sweater and You've Got Yourself a Casual Chic Weekend Look.

Polka Dots are a Timeless Print.  What Made me Run and Grab a Sales Associate to Remove it Off the Mannequin Display so I Could Have it was How Large the Polka Dots were.  This Blouse also has a lot of Graphic Design to it with the Brighter Blue Stripe Down the Middle.

I knew I wanted to Pair it with my Mustard Pencil Skirt.  Sure Grey, Navy, and Black would be Nice, but Adding a Saturated Gold Hue is Much More Fun :)

I Chose my Favorite Gold Hoops to Mimic the Circular Polka Dots and Blue Pumps to go Along with the Brilliant Blues in the Blouse.

When Wearing a Look with Lots of Color Keep Your Handbag Neutral (Tan, Grey, Black)

Teal & Mustard

Teal + Mustard - What a Lovely Color Combination!

Mustard Yellow is my Favorite Shade of Yellow because of it's Rich and Saturated Hue.
I Style Mustard Yellow as a Neutral much as I would Gold.   Mustard is One of the, 'Peacock Colors'.  Peacock Feathers Contain Deep Gorgeous and Bright Shades of Teal, Purple, Green and Gold.  I used these for my Wedding so I have a Sentimental Fondness.

For this Look I Paired my Mustard Skirt with a Shiny Silk Teal Blouse.  The Snake Printed Belt Breaks Up the Color Block and Adds some Print & Texture.  I Opted for a Black Pair of Cage Pumps for a Little Edge and a Fur Vest for a Touch of Warmth.
