Our sweet bunny Ethel is now 2!! My Mamma gifted her to Vivian and she's been such a precious addition to our family.
Bunnies are so soft, the cutest you've ever seen and bring joy especially to little ones.
I've had several mammas reach out and ask what it's like to care for a pet bunny.
Here are my essentials for caring for a pet bunny ...
this lives in our sunroom giving her plenty of sunshine and views to the outdoors
Ethel is a very large bunny and she has plenty of room to play
this is by far the most important
We placed it in the corner where she likes to go is trained beautifully
I use this litter inside
bunnies drink a lot of water and this keeps it easy
this attached to the cage and also can hold hay
Ethel likes these more than loose hay
Ethel enjoys being outside
Note: We stay with her at all times as a hawk can swoop in and grab her!
As for treats & toys we give her cardboard tubes (she eats & plays with them!), romaine lettuce, and carrots.
Disclaimer: My preference is NOT to have pets, however the love & care shared in our family makes it worthwhile!
